We offer a sexual health clinic specifically for the d/Deaf community. This clinic is run by Dr Rose Balázs, a GP registrar in South West London who uses British Sign Language (BSL). There will be BSL interpreters present throughout the day to make the clinic fully accessible.
Who is this clinic for?
This is a service for any d/Deaf person who is sexually active or who is thinking about becoming sexually active. You do not have to be a BSL user to use the service.
The age limit is patients 13 and over.

How to book?
Book a sexual health appointment for d/Deaf patients. Please note that you will need to create an account to book an appointment.
We are aware that this booking form is not fully accessible and are working behind the scenes to offer alternative ways to book an appointment.
- Diagnosing and treating sexual infections e.g. chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, genital herpes, genital warts
- Genital symptoms, e.g. abnormal discharge from penis or vagina, pain on passing urine, pain during sex, skin changes to penis or vagina
- Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) – a medication you can take regularly to prevent contraction of HIV
- Contraception e.g. oral contraceptive pill or injection. Please note I cannot fit coils or implants, but if you would like one of these please book via text relay on 0333002100 and we can make an appointment for you and ensure you have an interpreter booked if needed
- Sexual assault or abuse. But if you have recently been sexually assaulted please book via text relay on 0333002100, this is not an emergency service
- All high-risk groups. Groups such as men who have sex with men, sex workers, people engaging in chemsex, trans patients
If you have no symptoms and live in Merton, Richmond or Wandsworth, you can order a free testing kit online that will be delivered to your door.

This is not an emergency service. The following issues are not appropriate for this service: recent sexual assault, requiring post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) or emergency contraception.
